A baker! A sailor! A cowboy! A movie star! Life offers so many choices for kids today; they are free to be whatever they choose to be! When I Grow Up the musical explores these choices in today's lingo for today's kids. From a driving rock opener to a burly sailor chantey, a soft-shoe baker song to an ambling cowboy tune, this musical lets kids explore a variety of occupations and careers through music from composers John Jacobson and Emily Crocker. Our students will have fun as they project themselves into the future, build self-esteem, and have fun shouting to the world, “I wanna be me WHEN I GROW UP!”
