Stargazing with ASNNE
Wednesday, August 24 at 7:30 p.m.
We are once again partnering with the Astronomical Society of Northern New England to view the night sky through telescopes. Did you know that the dark spots on the moon are known as “maria”, the Latin word for seas? Join us as we view maria, craters and other interesting features of the moon. Registration is required. This program will be held at the ASNNE Observatory in Kennebunk. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Wells Public Library. For more information, please contact Stefanie Claydon at sclaydon@wellstown.org or call the library at 207-646-8181.
