Backyard gardening is one of the best ways to connect with the land and savor the joys of growing your own food. Join us on May 19th for our next class in the Homesteading Series: Backyard Gardening. HSWO Board member and gardener, Marilyn Stanley, will share her extensive knowledge of backyard gardening. No experience is necessary! In this two-hour class you will learn how to get started, what foods grow well in the Southern Maine Coastal climate, as well as time-tested advice from a local, Maine grower. Don’t miss it!
