Habitat Restoration and Climate Resilience in Southern Maine. People have been altering coastal landscapes for centuries, altering how they function and degrading their condition. Today, coastal communities face growing impacts from coastal storms, sea level rise, and development in vulnerable areas. In this virtual talk, Wells Reserve Stewardship Director Jacob Aman describes how coastal communities in southern Maine work with state and federal partners, local conservation organizations, and others to enhance resilience in response to changing conditions while improving the health of coastal ecosystems.
