Everywhere\, she encountered plastic pollution\, which inspired her to begin directing microplastic pollution research in 2013. In this free virtual presentation hosted by the Wells Reserve\, she will talk about where microplastics are found\, where they come from\, how they affect marine species\, their potential environmental impacts\, and what people can do about this pervasive plastic pollution.
